Because all celebrants featured on this website are experienced working celebrants who are already trusted every day by funeral directors to look after their families.  They have all built a great reputation in the funeral profession and have wonderful feedback from funeral directors and families.  They are trusted. 



Putting Families First...
 
For families and funeral directors alike, it is important to know that the person entrusted to conduct a funeral service is experienced, trustworthy, reliable, compassionate and approachable.
 
We are a group of experienced local funeral celebrants who share a simple belief: families must always be at the heart of everything we do.
 
This register of celebrants is about sharing our experience, supporting one another and maintaining the high standards that families and funeral directors rightly expect from those entrusted with such an important responsibility.
 
Each of us comes from a different background and has developed our own experience and reputation within the local community. What brings us together is our commitment to providing families with a caring, professional and genuinely personal service at one of the most difficult times in their lives.
 
We understand that every person is unique, and every family has its own wishes, memories and needs. Our role is to listen carefully, take the time to understand what matters to those left behind, and then create and deliver a meaningful ceremony that truly reflects the life of the person who has died.
 
We also recognise and respect the expertise of funeral directors, who play such an important role in supporting families and helping them find the right celebrant for their individual circumstances. We are grateful for the confidence placed in us when we are entrusted with their families.
 
Between us, we have many years of experience in public speaking, funeral ceremonies, listening and supporting people through bereavement. We are committed to continuing to learn from one another and to sharing good practice, so that the families we serve receive the very best care possible.
 
As part of that commitment, each member of the group has undertaken to be appropriately insured and DBS checked and has also completed a Safeguarding course Level 2 certificate and passed, giving families and funeral directors additional reassurance and confidence.
 
Ultimately, this group exists for one reason: to support families, to support funeral directors, and to ensure that every person whose funeral we conduct is treated with dignity, compassion and respect.
 
We are proud of the work we do, but above all, we are privileged to be trusted with it.
